Lifelong Connection to Dublin
Tara’s connection to Dublin, Ohio runs deep. She grew up riding bikes through local neighborhoods, forming friendships that still last today. Many of the teachers and coaches who shaped her childhood are now working with her own children. That continuity drives her love for this community and her commitment to keeping our schools strong.

A Parent’s Perspective
Tara is a mother of four children, with two graduates and two currently enrolled at Dublin Jerome. She’s been through it all—504 plans, IEPs, gifted services, and reading interventions. Her lived experience gives her a deep understanding of what families face and what students need. She’s been a room parent, a field trip chaperone, a committee lead, and a tireless volunteer.
A Career Built on Strategy and Accountability
With a background in finance and accounting, Tara has spent more than a decade in roles focused on forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis. Today, she works as a program manager leading global delivery transformation at a consulting firm. Her work requires clear thinking, strong communication, and the ability to deliver results. She’s ready to bring that same mindset to the school board.

A Voice for Families
For years, Tara has shown up to speak at board meetings, participate in levy discussions, and represent parent voices through Jerome’s Key Communicator program. She connects regularly with city officials and state legislators to advocate for public schools. Her commitment isn’t new—it’s consistent and ongoing.
Why Tara Seward is running for the 2025 Dublin School Board
Tara believes public schools are the heart of a strong community. As state funding becomes less reliable and needs continue to grow, it’s time for leadership that understands both the numbers and the people behind them. She’s ready to serve, to listen, and to lead with purpose.
